Questions

Which curriculum do the units follow?

The current Ontario curriculum for each subject. Math units follow the 2020 Ontario Mathematics curriculum. Every lesson lists the expectation codes it covers.

What format are the files?

Each unit comes as a Teacher Guide and Student Pages, both as editable Word files and print-ready PDFs. The Word files open in Google Docs, so you can change anything.

Can I see a unit before I buy it?

Yes. Every unit page shows the full calendar, the lesson list, a complete lesson plan, its worksheet and the rubric. You can also download a free sample lesson as a PDF.

How do I get my unit after paying?

Right away. After checkout you land on a download page for your files. Bookmark it to download again later. If you lose it, email us and we'll send the link.

Can I share it with my colleagues?

A single licence is for one teacher's classes. For a grade team, the team licence covers up to 5 teachers at one school for $49.99.

Do you use AI to make the units?

Yes, as a drafting tool. Every numeric answer is then recalculated by software, every unit is checked against the curriculum codes it lists, and an Ontario classroom teacher reviews each unit before it goes on sale.

What if it isn't right for my class?

Email help@unitplans.ca within 7 days of buying for a full refund.

Will there be more grades and subjects?

Yes. New units are added regularly, starting with Grade 8 Math. On any unit marked “coming soon”, leave your email and we'll tell you the day it's ready.
